This hand made 22 carat gold ring is set with and Indian cut “Parab” diamond. Parab is a Hindi word meaning a flat faceted diamond. These kind of diamonds are widely used in Indian jewellery and are characterised by a limpid, watery charm. This diamond weighs 1.30 carats and has a clarity grade of SI2 with small visible inclusions that I consider to be part of it’s natural charm. The diamond’s approximate size is 8.8mm by 8.3mm. The band is lightly hammered and is a UK size M or US 6.5.
